Borkars are over three decades in the field of Packaging. We are one of the largest converters of duplex board in India.

What types of cartons are made?
We manufacture cartons using duplex board of different types such as Grey back, White board, FBB, Cast coated, Sapphire, PP and Plastic Apet with varying GSM. We also produce E Flute cartons as well as Corrugated boxes (Shippers). A facility for printing labels and catch covers is also available. Besides printing we do finishing with Aqueous varnishing, U. V. Lacquering, Lamination, Foiling, Embossing, Hot stamping of Holograms. Cartons with Glued end, Reverse Tuck In, Straight Tuck In, Crash Lock Bottom, Double compartments with or without Window & Display flap with the desired finishing as mentioned above are produced.

How many colours printing machine do you have?
We have two 6 Colour Man Roland 700 printing machine with Inline coater having speed of 15000 sheets per hour, 4 colour Planeta Machine, 6 colour KBA Machine and 4 colour Dominant machine.

What other machine do you have?
We have BOBST & Heidelberg Die Cutting machines (imported from Switzerland & Germany), Pasting machines from BOBST, Lamination Machines, U.V. Coating Machines, BOBST BMA Foilmaster Foiling machine, STEUR machine from Germany.

What different stages are involved in New Job?
The different stages involved are New specifications, Artwork/Positives Approval of Bromide, Processor's proof, Shade Card and Quotation.

What are the lead times for Supplies?
For a regular job, order placed with confirmed schedule, the first supply is within ten days and balance as per the schedule. In case of non confirmed schedule or fresh order, within fifteen days. For a New Job the supplies to commence within three weeks from the date of approval of the artwork.

Do you have ISO certification?
We have acquired ISO 9001-2000 certification.

Do you have Q C Laboratory?
We have a well equipped Quality control laboratory for Pre-inspection of RM inputs, Work in Process and finished goods. All the parameters are thoroughly checked at various stages from inception till delivery of cartons.

Do you keep Inventory for Board and of finished products?
In order to avoid delays in meeting the fresh orders, we ask for the firm intimations of requirement of cartons to be given one month in advance for covering the board. Only in cases of such intimations received, we cover the Board. In exceptional cases, we would carry the inventory of finished carton.

What tax benefits are available?
At Daman the Sales Tax has been exempted (So Client can save 4% on sales tax). In cases of orders from units in 100% EOU zones or in privileged states like Assam, the excise duty rebate could be availed. At Himachal Pradesh Excise Duty is exempted.

Can a visit to your plant possible?
We welcome our patrons to visit our factory with a prior appointment.
